With extensive experience in the audiovisual industry, Manel Iglesias has collaborated in the start-up and development of various communication companies in Spain and other countries, such as Televisión de Galicia, Telecinco, Globomedia, Videomedia Portugal, Canal + Spain, Starmus Festival, IB3 in the Balearic Islands, 7TV in Murcia or Antena 3, as well as various collaborations with the Royal Academy of Cinematographic Arts of Spain, Endemol Shine Latino, RTP, SIC and TVI in Portugal, RTVE, and Televisa in México, among other audiovisual production companies and TV stations.
Manel Iglesias is responsible for the direction and production of important live events, such as the direction of seven editions of the Goya Awards of the Spanish Film Academy for RTVE, the direction and production of twelve Ondas Awards of the Prisa group for Canal+, the executive production of the Starmus Festival in 2011 and 2014, which is the largest science symposium in the world, and which in its different editions was attended by numerous Nobel Prize winners in physics, moonwalker astronauts such as Neil Amstrong, Buzz Aldrin, Jim Lovell, commander of Apollo XIII, Russian cosmonauts such as Alexei Leonov and the special collaboration of Stephen Hawking; the general coordination of the Platinum Awards for Latin American Cinema broadcast from Panama to 18 Latin American countries, the seven personalized broadcasts of the Hollywood Oscars for Canal + Spain, the concert of The Three Tenors with the London Philharmonic on Canal +, the production of the World Cup in Germany for La Sexta, the executive production of the first and second Big Brother in Spain and in 2015 in Mexico, or the inauguration of several regional TV channels, documentary series, live entertainment programs, sports broadcasts and news programs in Spain and Portugal, in addition to the creation, direction and production of dozens of entertainment formats, also being an advisor to communication companies in the development of projects and production and market strategies.
Throughout his career, Manel Iglesias has had the opportunity to work with great professionals in music, sports, film, television, science and culture, and to transmit his talent to the general public through live television broadcasts.
